Small blessings of the past week

• Discovering the Rascal Flatts' cover of "Life is a Highway" - I don't know, it just makes me happy :)
  
• Meeting Aiko, a Japanese college student on a one-month exchange program with Bethel. Japan is so far away, both in geography and increasingly in my memory, so it's nice to have the opportunity to remember why I enjoyed my time there so much.
• March Madness, and the pleasant distraction that provides. Also the satisfaction in currently beating Scott in my bracket (aka "Sheet of Integrity"). Do I know anything about the basketball teams? Not hardly.
• Shamrock Shakes!
• Going to sleep feeling exhausted from the day, but also content that I've learned something new and made a small difference in the world.
